Chris, Autumn and myself took the train to Chinatown this past weekend to experience the Lunar New Year parade! We picked a spot near the end of the parade which meant it started a little later for us, but because of that it wasn’t very crowded and we had a good spot to watch the festivities. It was super colorful and I absolutely loved all the rainbow paper confetti canons people would shoot into the air as people paraded through. It was amazing watching the teamwork it takes to carry all the decorations and dragons throughout the route during the cold temperatures. Everyone performing in the parade did an awesome job!!
This was my first time taking photos at a parade like this so I wasn’t able to fully capture the rainbow of magic I experienced, but hopefully we can go again next year and I can practice a lot until then! :)
